Every year, Pantone celebrates a color that reflects the zeitgeist and collective aspirations on a global scale.
Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse has been unveiled for 2025. This hue is described as ‘warming brown imbued with richness’, with every aspect inviting us to escape.
A lush color
This sophisticated brown, both warm and earthy, is inspired by the deep aromas of cocoa, coffee, and chocolate. Ingredients that we are used to working with at Argeville!
Its velvety nuances evoke a sweet, soothing interlude, while recalling the richness of nature and its organic elements.
The origins of Mocha
Did you know that the term ‘mocha’ has its origins in a town in Yemen?
In the 17th century, Mocha was a flourishing center of coffee production and a major player on the world market. Later, in the mid-19th century, the English adopted the word to designate a specialty of coffee mixed with chocolate.
This blend inspired the famous ‘mochaccino’ drink, which gained in popularity in the 1990s. This trend marked the beginning of the craze for mocha shades in interior design in the early 2000s, a popularity that continues today with new interpretations.

To translate color into fragrance, we drew inspiration from the new Pantone palette and market trends to create a color chart.
Fragrance concepts are developed from these colors, leading to the creation of unique and subtle scents.
Our perfumers created the Afternoon Together collection to illustrate the world of Mocha Mousse.
It was imagined as a sweet autumn day, when we take time to live, to connect or, better still, to reconnect with what’s essential. A way of enjoying the pleasures of everyday life: hand in hand, we indulge in a break on the sofa or a walk in nature, before warming up with a hot drink in a coffee house and watching the evening fall.
The Fluffy Minute, Coffee In The Woods and Skin Touch Feeling fragrances have an enveloping, natural atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Fall Pleasures, Chill Out Lounge and Mocha Lovers have more gourmand, comforting notes.
