Argeville returns to Beautyworld Dubai with Written in Dust, a new olfactory collection inspired by the raw and elemental beauty of the Arabian landscape.
Beyond the region’s modern skylines lies another Arabia: a land shaped by blazing sands, ancient stone, hidden waters and untamed creatures. Written in Dust looks to this world before civilization, exploring the relationship between the land, its materials and the animals that have moved through it for centuries.
A JOURNEY INTO THE UNTOUCHED LAND
The collection unfolds through two complementary chapters. “Earth Born : Nature Before Civilization” explores the mineral, vegetal and atmospheric dimensions of the land, from hot sand and saffron to salt, ash, woods and smoke.
“Untamed Creatures : Animal. Movement. Heat. Instinct.” draws inspiration from iconic animals of the Arabian landscape and the sensations associated with them: strength, movement, warmth, freedom
and instinct.
AN OLFACTORY EXPLORATION
Across eight creations, Argeville’s perfumers translate these stories into unexpected olfactory expressions, combining familiar regional references with more surprising sensory ideas such as hot sand, black pearl, volcanic ash, camel milk, warm blood, wet mud and musky fur.
Through Written in Dust, Argeville invites visitors to rediscover Arabia through fragrance: not through its cities, but through the land itself. Raw, instinctive and shaped by nature.
